Pennsylvania Genealogy offers digital scans of published and unpublished genealogical documents on Pennsylvania — county histories, church records, city and telephone directories, family genealogies, military records, maps and atlases. Every item is a scan of an original publication, preserved and made searchable for family historians.

Who we are

I have been scanning this material for more than twenty years, and doing my own family research for over thirty. What started as a way to preserve fragile books for my own research grew into a library of hundreds of Pennsylvania titles — many of them rare, out-of-print, or never widely available. Each collection here was assembled the way I would want to buy it: complete works, carefully scanned, organized by county and topic.
